I recently acquired a fuel pump kit for the original carb that has a brass float. I will rebuild that carb and try that this week. The plastic float is from a Chinese copy I got on amazon. Thanks for the reply's, I will keep you posted

It's a b riggs and stratton 19.5 hp. Twin cylinder opposed

Older craftsman riding mower keeps flooding out because the cheap plastic carb floats are weak. Does anyone make a metal carb float that is adjustable??? Thanks and God bless
