Has anyone added the HRR handle bar grips to the HRN handle bar? If so what is involved to do this job?

Does that mower have a plastic deck? If so, it has a lifetime warranty

I had a HRR216VKA that was submerged twice. The funny thing was there was no water in the gas. I did do several oil changes and lube all external moving parts. The mower worked great for over 5 years until I sold it and upgraded to a HRN. You will be fine.

When you check the oil level do you screw in the dipstick? What grade of oil do you use?

This is a common issue with the HRR. If you are not mechanically incline then take it to a Honda mower repair shop.

Do what the manual says. This is what the Honda engineers say to do.

Here is the solution read this thread it is long there are many options and best on is the brass oilite bushing retrofit. You still have to tear it apart every year or two to lube it. I finally gave up and bought an HRN since I knew Honda will not be saleing gas mowers anymore. Here is the link...
