    Delco/Remy Voltage regulator

Hello all, Anybody try a Chinese voltage regulator? I have 3 originals I've cleaned up and rebuilt but I haven't tested them yet. I saw some mixed reviews about the knockoff ones on Amazon for $20, wasn't sure if mine don't pan out, if it would be better to get a name brand unit for $40...

    Leaking fuel

The top of the inside of the cap has a rubber mat/gasket material I suspect is leaking, I haven't found just the gasket, I ended up buying new caps. I'm sure I can get a universal type cap if I look, or try a heavy o ring.

    Leaking fuel

Hello all, I have 3 Echo string trimmers at work, and 1 at home, they all leak fuel at the gas cap. I've replaced the caps several times, and within a year, they start leaking again. Has anyone found an aftermarket cap or gasket to fix the issue? I love the trimmers, but this is getting old...

    1969 Sears Suburban SS12 restoration

After soaking the steering wheel in kroil for weeks, it still wouldn't budge, I ended up cutting it off, luckily it's a common size shaft. When I drained the transaxle, I found it has the common issue that suburbans have, it was full of water, after I got it out, I replaced all of the oil seals...

    1969 Sears Suburban SS12 restoration

Hello all, I'm restoring a 1969 Sears Suburban SS12 tractor I picked up last fall for $75. It ran when I got it, but not well. It came with a plow, chains, wheel weights and two spare Tecumseh HH120 engines, one ok, the other locked up. I planned on making a dedicated snow plowing machine, but...

    New guy with a '69 SS12

You can substitute a Carter 16 carb from Kohler if you modify the linkages.

    New guy with a '69 SS12

Yes, the one on it runs, and I have a spare that needs work, and a locked up one for parts. My missing link at the moment is a drive pulley for the transaxle.

    New guy with a '69 SS12

Hello all, Picked up a running 1969 Sears Suburban SS12 last fall with a plow, chains, wheel weights, and 2 spare parts engines for $75. Was gonna just make it a dedicated snow plow tractor, but decided to do a frame up restoration on it, and I like poking around forums to gain information and...
