I have a new Spartan 61” deck. So far it has not been cutting the greatest. I have tried to level the deck. When leveling, is it better to get side to side dead on or is it better to get left side blade when at the front the same as the right? I ask because I cannot get both on at the same time...

Ok, new report. The motor is the 35hp. The dealer tried to make it out like it was the 38.5, but not EFI. I didn’t get as good of a deal as I thought I did, but I recon I still got a new mower with a good motor

Ok. After taking in all the info from everyone and making a few phone calls, I do believe this is a 35hp motor that has maybe different jetting or different carb to make it a 38.5hp. I spoke to a local shop, not one that is a Kawasaki dealer, and gave them the numbers off the motor and I was...

Not sure what’s up. Motor says FX1000v. Here is the numbers off my tag Code FXT00V-DS22-R E/NO FXT00VA78859

I’ll get the model and serial number and and check it out. If you go to Spartans website and click on mowers, look down the list and find the SRT XD with the 38.5hp and when it goes back to the regulars list that show what all it has, the to thing will say FX1000E

It’s on a Spartan mower. You can look it up on their website. It’s an engine option on a Spartan SRT XD. The dealer I went to had 3 in stock with same motor

Me either, but that’s what my motor says. It’s 38.5hp, but it’s not the EFI

Can anyone give me some info on the Kawasaki FX1000E? I can find info on FX1000V and FX1000 EFI, but the one I’m looking at has a carburetor. It is 38.5hp. Thanks in advance.
