TB230 mower need to replace 8 inch drive wheels but they won't come off after removing locking nut on end of shaft
was cut off After applying PB Blaster and trying for several minutes couldn't get wheel to budge. Applied a large amount of PB Blaster and left it work for about 3 hours. Turned mower over to upright position and used a 1 1/2 lb rubber hammer to hit the back of the mover wheels and used rubber... -

Turned mower 90 degrees, removed 9/16 locking nut, sprayed PB Blaster into hub/axle and pounded wheel with a heavy tool. Waited about 10 minutes. Wheel came off with no problem. Flipped mower over to do the same on other wheel. Sprayed PB Blaster and tried -

I purchased the mower used so I have not tried to remove the wheels before. When I purchased the mower I was given another set of 8 inch drive wheels which were also worn out. The self propelled drive functions well and there is no binding so I don't think that there is rust on the axle. My... -

I tried to remove the 8 inch drive wheels on my TB230 self propelled mower. Removed the locking nut at the end of the shaft in the center of the wheel. Applied pressure, even tried using a tire iron to pry off the wheel. Thought about trying to spray some PB Blaster on the shaft but it probably...
