Good call on the mount bolts. One more thing to check, grab the clutch pulley with the belt off and try rockin it up/down and side to side. If theres play thats not belt tension, the bearing inside the PTO clutch is probably shot. Had a similar scare on my X350 lol.
Hey guys, Brian again with another dumb question probably.
So the mornings are gettin cool up here and I know the growin season is windin down. Was talkin to my neighbor over the fence and he goes yea you gotta drop your deck for the last cut of the year, short grass wont mat down under snow...
Ive been down the review hole and man theres a lot of noise in this space. Every video is sponsored, every guy swears his brand is the only one worth buyin.
Heres where Im at. 1.5 acres, 6 maples plus a couple oaks along the property line. I dont need commercial grade, but I also dont wanna buy...
Honestly for a homeowner rig I think RC mowers are still overkill unless you got steep slopes you cant safely ride. How big is your yard? Im on 1.5 flat acres with my X350 and cant imagine giving up the seat time lol. Where they shine is hillsides pros dont wanna risk.
That’s frustrating. Does it drop right away when you hit a bump, or only after mowing for a while? I’d probably start by looking at the height lever and the pin or notch that holds it in place.
Solid troubleshooting so far. Since it won't fire even on starting fluid, I'd shift focus to spark. Pull a plug, ground it against the block, and crank it. You want a strong blue spark, not a weak orange one.
One thing worth double checking given the sheared timing key. Even after replacing it...
Man, didnt expect 80 replies lol. Thanks everyone so much. Ended up grabbin the magnetic balancer and gave it a shot this weekend. While I was at it I also checked my tire pressure since a few of you mentioned it. Cut looked way more even after so honestly no clue which one did the trick, but...
Thanks for all the input; definitely learned a ton. Gonna pull the trigger on the magnetic wall mount balancer since its cheap enough to justify. Figure worst case I got a new garage toy, best case my spindles last longer. Thanks again!
Alright so a couple weeks in with the X350 and Im already down the rabbit hole of blade care lol. Cut looked a little uneven last mow and figured its time to pull em, sharpen, put em back.
Watched a bunch of vids and now Im more confused than when I started. Half the guys say just stick a...
Thanks! It actually came with the manual, I skimmed it but honestly reads like a generic checklist. Gonna sit down and give it a proper read this week.
Was more hopin to hear some of the real world tips you guys picked up over the years. It's a 2018 with about 200 hrs on it if that helps...
Well after 2 years of renting whatever the shop had sittin out front, I finally pulled the trigger on a used X350 last weekend. Big thanks to everyone that chimed in on my earlier threads. You guys def helped me stop second guessing everything.
Heres the thing though. Every mower Ive ever ran...
