I love it, mowed last night with it. The finish cut grass is as smooth as a cue-ball. And a couple hours after mowing even the tire marks are gone. Love those fat tires F & R.

Yes the adjustment is down near the hydros for Toro anyhow. You need to slow down the faster one. Never speed up the slower one. For Troy-Bilt, I think you should try & get an online Service manual. I don't want to give ya a bum steer.

If you are building up a lot of carbon in combustion chamber that will increase the readings.

I was gonna suggest a Toro Timecutter, They have 3 ranges, Tow / slow & Go. but 300 lbs is way over their limit.

Timecutter does not have transport lock, just the 4-1/2" range on stick. To OP: Suggest you set height handle to lower setting 3" or below & wiggle the deck, it can get stuck up high.

True enough.. Enjoy, & that engine does require an early oil change to start life properly..

Get some metal & fab a heat shield aka skid plate. My 2014 Toro never burnt the grass. Toro makes a good machine. But to meet the latest emissions the engines have to run much learner (read hotter). Should have come with a heat shield. My Scag did, It is referred to as a skid plate, And...

I use Green Grease, Full synthetic & waterproof. Overkill I'm sure. But I'm out of grade 2 grease.. LOL

Well in time maybe you will understand. The forum sometimes sends notices, & other times they do not. I have my filters up on Strict, so some incoming notices get wrongly branded as infected.

You missed an Important oil change, The Early one to get all the debris out from all the new parts scrubbing together.

Kawasaki engine should have Early oil change done under 10 hours. then yearly or 50 hours, whichever comes 1st.

That is the grand plan.....

Just got word, production with some box store brands bought 580 thousand Vanguard engines to replace the kawi engines for now.
