IS3100Z Ferris--model 5900611--serial 2000701028 I bought it used and have had it for 6 years. I'm trying to replace the pump drive belt. I'm a little confused because there is no belt tensioner. There are four pullies to route the belt. 1-cranshaft, 2-hydraulic pumps, and 1 idler pulley near the right-side pump pulley. I got a Ferris belt 5100555SM and it's about 1/2" too short. If I manage to get in installed, I'm sure being that tight, I'll burn out bearings. Is there supposed to be a belt tensioner on this machine or am I supposed to get a slightly longer belt and stretch it on? I can't find a pic online of the underside of the mower that shows the pump drive area. Thanks for any help, gregjo1948

The belt diagram is on page 44 of the owners manual, and that model calls for the 5100614 supercede to 84009006 belt

ILENGINE--Thank you. It's obvious someone has removed the belt tensioner parts on my mower. I have a plan as-to what I can do to get it back in action. I'll post how it works out. gregjo1948
