While mowing last week, a pine cone was kicked up and lodged in the deck belt drive pulley, causing the belt to jump. (I couldn't make up a story like this...) After re-installing the belt, I started the engine, and deck belt wouldn't engage. 'Hopped off to double check my work - seems OK. Now the engine won't start. Won't crank at all. There isn't even power at the hour meter. The fuse is good. Did I fry the PTO switch, or a wire somewhere?
There are no obvious signs of the Killer Pine cone wreaking more havoc with the wiring.
I don't know where to start looking.
Thanks.
