So the Yard Machine was dropped out of the back of a dump truck. Mower starts now problem. When you engage the self propel lever it doesn't seem to go anywhere without pushing the mower. I tightened the adjustment on the propel lever. It seemed to help, if you lift the mower and pull the lever the front wheels turn, but when it's on the ground it doesn't go as fast as it should.
Any suggestions on what to look for? I can't see anything visibly bent.

It's a Yard Machine
6HP/21" Cut electric start, self propelled.

Thanks

Yah, MTD made hundreds of self propelled mowers. To even to be able to "start" to help, we may need to know what you have.

Try removing the front cover and checking belt tension/fitting.
Was it dropped on the front wheels?
Good luck, Phil
