Which Kawasaki engine to replace a Kohler CV750 Command Pro 30hp??

I was hoping someone could tell me which Kawasaki engine would be somewhat of a direct replacement for the Kohler Command Pro 30 I have now (and any issues to prepare for). The Kohler came off of a Cub Cadet Tank 60" and I believe the Cub is around a 2010 model. I have not measured the crankshaft for diameter and length but I was wondering if someone could give me a start with at least the series of Kawasaki's I'd be looking for?

Also, is there any special way to measure the length of the crankshaft? Edge of seal to end of shaft?

I appreciate any help.

Because vertical shaft engines are really only used for lawnmowers and the blades hang off the end vertical shafts are measured from the mounting flange to the end of the shaft
If it is still in the mower then it is the distance from the floor to the end of the shaft + the thickness of the floor itself

Good thing is the lengths are standardized
1" x 2-29/3
1" x 3-5/32
1" x 3-21/32"

1-1/8" x 4"
1-1/8" x 4-5/16"
1-1/8" x 4-9/32"

Most common size is 1 x 3-5/32 or 1-1/8 x 4-5/16

Only the FX series kawasaki engines go above 24 Hp
Worth every penny as they have all of the good gear on them but not cheap
