What's That Noise

Recently purchased a Cheetah 61. About midway in to mowing, after mower is hot, I sometimes hear a sound when backing and turning. Seems to be when backing up with right wheel. Not the pump sound. Sounds like metal and seems to be coming from rear of deck. Could it be the pusharm? Mower was a demo with 68 hours when I took delivery. Dealer replaced blades, greased and changed oil. Really like it....until I hear that sound. Thanks for any help!

If its a part that needs to be greased it may have been over looked. With the mower off and the key out of the ignition, I would get down on the ground with a flashlight and look for any part that is hooked to the deck and lifting parts to see if you can notice any dry joints or pivot points, some thing that rubs when you go backwards. And if you can't find any you may need to talk to your dealer if it get to you enough. Good Luck and keep us posted if you like.

Thanks for the advice. I greased all the fittings yesterday. Still happened...this time when I first pulled out of the garage! It may be something I will have to get use to. Just want to make sure I'm not damaging something.
