My Weed Eater FL1500LE 2 cycle gas leaf blower will not run beyond the full choke setting. If I move the lever to half choke the engine will stop. Or if I move the throttle from full throttle to a lower speed the engine will die. I have thoroughly cleaned the carb, replaced both fuel lines and filled with fresh gas. What can I do to get the engine to run beyond full choke? Do I need to check the muffler?

How did you clean the carb? I know a lot of people use a spray carb cleaner. This is not cleaning the carb IMHO. You need to take the carb apart and soak it in a carb cleaner to get all the passages clean.

There will be some on here that will say the spray is fine but when you clean the carb it's worth the extra and go buy a rebuild kit to use when you do.

If you did this then you would not have a running problem unless you put it back together wrong or your adjustment are not right.
