Valve Spring Removal Tool for K-301

I'm getting ready to lap the valves on my K-301.What is a good removal tool to use on the valve keepers.Any tips,or concerns I should be aware of?Thanks

These are the two styles which I have in my tool box. I may use them twice a year. I wouldn’t buy either unless I planned on using them a lot. Check with your local auto parts store or small engine repair shop. Might be able to rent one cheap.
