If this has been previously discussed I apologize, I read through the forum and couldn't find this specific problem.
Just replaced the drive belt on a Turf Tiger (STT61A-27KA with a serial number of 7740001 to 7749999) we borrowed while my Gravely was in the shop. Once I figured out how to remove and reinstall the belt it went smoothly. Except it still won't go. The belt seems a little loose, but I assumed when the clutch engaged it would tighten up and be fine. Replacement belt was purchased from a Scag dealer. My husband was using it when the belt came off and swears the only thing that happened was it just quit. I have no experience with Scag mowers and am at a loss and since it appears that service manuals are not available, I'm stumped.
