transmission swap ?

hey to all question i have, SLT 1554 2012 model yr transmission / trans axle is wiped. looking at side by side pics of trans from model LT 1050 these units look identical does anyone know if that trans will run right behind the 27 hp koehler eng ? it looks like a direct swap thank you in advance for any info capt rob
