I have a new Toro 34” Timecutter, with 4 hours on it. Don’t like the cut, need to go over same area twice at times. Any recommendations on aftermarket blades? Does mower need to be run at full throttle? Was breaking it in, and using slowest ground speed, half throttle so, don’t think that was it?
Here is what I am using 140-5134-03
Wish I could get a Gator 🐊 type blade.
could possibly be the deck level, but was purchased from a very reputable dealer. Will measure blade tip to ground on both sides to be sure.
Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Don’t like the cut,
Welcome to the 0-turn market.
need to go over same area twice at times.
Nothing new to report here. All 0-turns do it.
Any recommendations on aftermarket blades?
Oregon.
Does mower need to be run at full throttle?
Full throttle all the time, every time.

You get maximum engine cooling and oil lubrication at WFO. When you idle the engine around the yard, cooling suffers as well as lubrication. You are doing more damage to it thinking you are extending its life.

This goes for all air cooled mowers and trimmers ect..... Run at max revs all the time. They are designed for it.
Was breaking it in, and using slowest ground speed, half throttle so,
Those are the exact words. "Breaking it" in is what you did.

Thank you for your reply. Will use Full throttle now, and check Oregon for replacement blades.

Keep the tires religiously aired up proper.

Level the deck and sharpen some blades. There's sharp which people polish the bevel as with a grinder then there's sharp as in someone trying to cut paper with.

They make Gators to fit your deck but they don't list them as fitting your deck
So find your hole size , type & length the look them up that way.
As the others have already mentioned, you must mow at full engine speed or you will get a very bad cut & destroy the hydros in no time flat .
That is why they put the speed range lever on it .

And FWIW: Blades are measured on the diagonal, like a TV.
And generally blades are approx 1/2" longer than the 17" x 2 would suggest, which is for overlap. So no missed grass (mohawks) in middle of cut path.
