Hello, new to the forum. My question/problem is with my beautiful zero-turn Toro rider. (42" TimeCutter® SW4200 CE (74675)
Mows great, maneuvers easy but filling the fuel tank is a pain and slow as mud. Fill spout looks to be only about 1/8 - 1/4" from the bottom of the tank under it and fuel inflow seems very restricted. It almost looks like a screen insert is in the neck of the spout but I don't want to yank on things that don't come out. I heard of Simplicity riders being made a few years back with a defective tank/fill spout that sounds like this issue. They replaced the fuel tank under warranty. My question for the audience is: can I remove the screen thingy (and how) or does Toro acknowledge the issue at all for repair/replacement? Or am I just impatient? (I do think 20 min to fill the fuel tank is excessive though) Thanks in advance for any help you can be.
