I have about a Toro Sw4200 steering wheel zero turn that's about 5+ years old. It is steadily becoming harder to turn, moving or not. Front wheel spindles and wheels hubs have been disassembled and greased. Tire pressure is correct. Also, the mower will continue to slide straight, sometimes, if turning sharply on the lawn at slow speeds. It's as if the front wheels are turned, but the hyrdos are both driving at the same speed. I have checked the speeds with the rear tires in the air and they do slow when the steering is turn sharply.

Don't know if the issues are related or not.

I have disassembled the front steering components, clean, greased and reassembled and this has cured the hard steering. The front tires are very hard and has a smooth thread. I think they just do not grip and then mower slides in stead of turning at very sharp turns. I will live with this.
