Hello, everyone,
I have a Toro Pacer and yesterday it started to die when I used the self-propeller. If I don't use it, it keeps running 'normally'. Any ideas?? Thanks!

Pull the cover off the self-propel unit on top of the mower deck and start the mower and engage the self-propel. Check to see if the belt is turning. If it's not it might be stuck in a pulley and putting too heavy a load on the engine. You may need to go underneath the mower and drop the blade and adapter and cover to access the belt to see if the belt is riding too deep in the pulley. Good luck!

I'llbet you have a stick stuck between the belt and tranny pulley. You will have to change the belt once you remove it.
