Hi,
I am trying to replace the transmission drive belt on my Toro LX-460 riding mower. Unfortunately I can't find any video or instructions on how to accomplish this. I have removed the belt from the engine drive shaft and threaded it back to the rear variable spindle post. BUT, I am unable to remove replace the belt as the spindle is mounted tight to the frame and there is a guard built into opposite side that cannot be removed. It almost appears as if I will have to remove the whole spindle assembly from the frame to accomplish this belt replacement. I am hoping someone can tell me that there is an easier way...........Thank you......
