Would like to put G6 Gator blades on it but my arbors are 2½" and the only ones that they make are 3". Mine is from late 2007. Looks like I need the later spindle shafts at least since the arbors are part of the shaft, and maybe the whole spindle assemblies. Anybody know whether any of that will fit?

The G6 Gators will work fine on your mower. They are heavier so they do have a heavier start up load on the deck belt. Unless you just like spending a lot money for new spindles since they start around $250 ea. or just the shafts starting at $80 ea.
Thanks for the reply. I'd like to replace as little as possible, there's nothing really wrong with anything in there now. So the shafts with the 3" arbor on them will fit in my spindles? Do you know what bearings I'd have to put in them?
