Hello everybody,
First time posting here. Picked up one of these old Toro mowers for $40 with the 5 HP GTS engine on it the other day for my oldest to start a grass cutting business with. It also came with the side discharge chute and bag too.
Everything works good, however the RPMs don't seem to be getting fast enough. There is no change in the engine sound from when it is on full choke to when it goes to fast idle. The engine does shut off when I slide the throttle the whole way down and then starts back up once I move it back up and pull the rope. Things don't seem to be moving on the throttle on the side of the engine.
Other than adjusting the screw on the carb and adjusting the screws for the throttle on the side of the engine, is there anything else I should look to do?
Model - 26624
Serial - 0014093
