I am the busy owner of an Automower 315. You know better than me that it works great, I have around 1000 sqm of lawn with many tight corners and this machine is doing an excellent job.
Now to the issue: I have a small area (2x2 meters) that I would like to temporarily remove from the working perimeter of the robot. Can I simply rearrange the boundary wire in such a way to cordon it off (and maybe bury the excess wire underground)? Or do I need to cut the wire and join it with a connector?
As I said I wish for the robot to come back to this area once I've planted more grass and the surface gets better for traction and rotation. Then I would lay the wire exactly as it is right now.
