i have three sthil hs56ce trimmers, one is over a year old and two are 6mo old. they all continue to serge when the warm up. when giving gas the rpms rev up and down,i have taken to a sthil dealer and they just replace the fuel filter and test it and say that they cannot duplicate failure,i dont know if there is a carb issue or what or its just a bad model, i e-mail sthil about problem they havent got back to me, does any one have any suggestions? i have an echo, tanaka and kawasaki trimmer and they run fine ,should i put an ethanol stabilizer in them, why are they so touchy? when my other equipment runs fine on the oil/fuel mixture blowers, pole saws and line trimmers ect...
