Steering Cable STH-18KH Pic in Post

Hello all, so i bought a used 1990 Scag 3 wheel lawn mower, had no steering cable. I bought a replacement from Scag, but I cant seem to figure out how exactly the cable stays taught. The cable just moves freely through the hollow bolt and I don't see any point where, if any, the cable is supposed to attach outside of the bolt fastening to the frame/

I haven’t worked on one of those in a few years, but if memory is still working, they don’t attach to anything. I think you adjust the cable tension there. Can you do two things for us. Take a few pictures of where the cable is routed and when you post back include the model and serial numbers for your unit. Remember we are not standing next to you with a drink in hand to see how everything is routed
