New to the LawnWorld Forum,
I was gifted a 2012 Snapper SPX 46" Cut/22hp lawnmower.
The previous owner was having issues starting the lawnmower so they went and purchased a push button start and tried to wire it in. When I received the lawnmower the individual showed me that the only way he was able to start the lawn mower was by touching a wire to the + battery post and then the mower would start to crank. I started to look into things and decided to purchase a new wiring harness due to the previous owner cutting wires and finding places for them to go. With the new wire harness there are two black wires that I can not find a place for, they match the original wire harness that was previously on the mower. One has a red loop connector and the other has a blue loop connector.
When the previous owner showed me how he was starting the mower he would touch the red loop connector to the + battery post, the other would be connected to the - battery post.
Is there something that I am missing?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
