Snapper rear engine rider 28 inch mower Model 7800104 or 2013121925
Anyhow , looks solid so I went for it. Engine is a Briggs 12.5 Starts right up. Now my questions and concerns.
Some rocket scientist that knows better than us cut all the wires for the safety switches. I found the seat and mower deck switches (wires cut) . The switches test ok.
I can't find the switch for the clutch pedal. I'm sure it has to be in the rear end some where. I can piece out the wires. And I see they go to an interlock module part 7028606.
Smooth clutch. In any speed the front wheels lift off the ground.
Axel boots... the right one is ripped.
Questions:
1. Does the interlock go bad? Could it be why all the wires were cut?
2 .Is it time to replace the rubber wheel 7053114 so I don't keep lifting the front end when I take off?
3. Is it a job to replace the axel boots or just time and patience?
4 What grease goes in the gear boxes? When on end, is it the lowest plug for filling and checking?
5. Are deck gage kits available anywhere for the 28 inch deck?

This is a nice little mower and while everyone is going for their zero turns or their battery operated mowers, I feel the need to have my Forrest Gump moment.
Thanks , Matt.00101_d1LfweqaHNHz_0CI0t2_1200x900.jpg
