I have a 15 year old 28" Snapper RER with blown B&S intek 12.5 OHV engine. Just got an older snapper cheap with B&S 12.5 Quiet flathead. that engine runs great but the drive train on that mower is a mess. I want to put the flathead on my original snapper and eliminate all of the safety switches. Can I just disconnect them? Also my original had electric start and my new "old" one is manual start and has no safety switches and is basically hot wired with the only kill switch on the carb when throttle is pulled all the way back. What do I do with all the excess wiring on my original mower? I am fine with not having all the safety stuff. Any help or advice greatly appreciated!

Thanks! Glenn in NJ.
