I have an old snapper 33" hi vac 3311X5S and my shifter arm snapped. I'm not sure what part is a fit to order. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

7040284 shift handle. Great old mowers. I had one that was over 40 years old before I let it go. Still have one sitting in the shop and parts of one laying around. Best old mower for women and kids as they won't run their feet into a tree or other things like they will with a lawn tractor.

Thanks for the information.... greatly appreciated . I got the spring compressed and tension off but this cotter pin is a nightmare. Having trouble getting it out

Weld yours back up. Muffler shops around here weld "kids" toys for free. Go another 50 years.

I finally got the cotter pin removed so here's my next question.... what would be the part number for the spring connected to the shift arm? I'd like to replace the spring guts
