Who makes a small light weight easy pushed trim mower, I can't find nothing that fits what I want at all... I would like to have a small mower that is easy to push around in the yards and do the trim before mowing with the big mower... I would prefer a mower 18-20" w/larger rear wheels but no power... Would like to have a throttle control, but I think that is history...
PS-What about those wheeled line trimmers, are they any good for trimming...???

I've been curious about these mowers for awhile, but don't know much, other than they're plastic (easily pushed), pricey, and rechargeable. They look to possibly (other than the price part) fit your bill!

Ooops, I should have stated gasoline powered, its just that gas powered is all I am used to, and don't think of other ways like battery etc. ...

Cub cadet used to make (as of 5 or 6 years ago) this tiny little push mower......all of 18" if I recall.....dunno if they still make it. It could only be had from a dealer.....it was what you spec'd out...other than it didn't have a big wheel in the back.

I've got a used 21" lightweight pusher by Yard Machines w/5.0 torque Briggs and Stratton (when did they change to rating torque instead of HP on the small lawnmower engines?). It has a completely overhauled engine. Just bought it cheap at the local mower repair place for $60. I think they're around $150 new. Its a 3 in 1 side discharge/mulch/bag mower that I bought specifically for mowing the front yard until the new grass was established enough to withstand the wear and tear my JD rider will subject it to. I've got a mulching blade on it and use it strictly as a mulcher and it has been great so far. It doubles as a trim mower around the back yard as well.

Lawn Boy made very light push mowers for a long time. I have a few from the 1970s. They are powered by two-stroke gas engines and the good ones have alloy decks. The engines are so durable that most of the ones that you find now are in great shape -- in need of only a cleaning and a tune-up.

I think he wanted new stuff.......

I was just in our little whistle-stop of a town yesterday, and I saw this guy struggling up a large hill pushing a green mower. Sounded like a weed-eater. You guessed it, a Lawn Boy non-propelled two-stroke, so he could mow his banks. Bet this guy bought the thing new in the 70's, and was still using it.
