I’m in the market for a new mower for this upcoming season.
Currently I have a Honda HRR2169VKA. This particular model has a well known problem with the rear wheels seizing up when rolling backwards. Warranty work was performed and the problem was fixed for a season and then it retuned. I have currently been living with this issue for several years.
Do the newer Honda mowers have this same issue or did Honda get this figured out?
I am looking for a self propelled, gas replacement and recommendations on what brands. I’ve read a few comparisons on Toro’s and they all have pros & cons.
My Honda starts every time and cuts really well but the engineering issues with the rear bushings make me fearful of purchasing another. Thanks!
