Hi all. A couple of days ago while mowing, my self propel gave out. In addition, the rear wheels that drive the self propel will no longer roll backwards. I bought this lawnmower in February of 2013, so it's still under warranty. Any idea what the problem could be? Thanks.

Could be a number of things, debris/string/etc. jamming up the rear wheels, or at worst, a failed transmission. Here's a link to find a dealer in your area who can inspect and evaluate the mower. Be sure to communicate with them up front make sure they don't start any repairs until it is known to be a warranty item or not. Some dealers may charge you a diagnostic fee, and delete it if the problem is fixable under warranty. Finally, this is a VERY busy time of year for most mower dealers, so be patient.

Hi Robert. Thanks for replying to both of my posts. I double posted because I wasn't sure where to do so originally. I'm taking it to a shop tomorrow morning and they informed me that it'd take a couple of weeks to get to it. Hopefully they won't leave it in the rain this time :/ Going to borrow my parents mower in the mean time. Thanks again.
