I recently rehabbed this tractor for my grandkids to drive around on without the mower unit. I picked it up free and in order to get it running I had to replace the battery, the solenoid and cleaned the carburetor. It been running great until I tried to bypass the safety switch. I think I might have jumped the wrong wires on the PTO and Brake switch. Now it will not start. It does not even click when I turn the key. I plugged all the safety switch back in too. Could I have damaged the solenoid by jumping the wrong wires??? Does anyone have any ideas while it will not start?

Highly unlikely .
However very good chance you have blown the fuse and blown the timing chip in the magneto coil
Get a short piece of wire and bride from the battery cable on the solenoid to the trigger terminal on the solenoid.
If there are 2 trigger terminals, the other one needs to be ground
The solenoid should close when power is applied to the trigger.

I am away for a week so I will try that when I return. I did check the one fuse I found on the wire harness below the steering wheel housing. Is there more than one fuse?

I replace the fuse as upon inspection in better light it was blown.

Thanks
