Hey all,

Got the tires off(cut them) and changed em out, what a hassle! Anyway, I cut my lawn yesterday after work, today I see scalp marks everywhere. Deck is level( ground's not. lol). Any ideas? Thought it could be a spindle. It's the right side if it helps.

Thanx

A couple of ideas:
1.Tires properly inflated?
a.Any grass stuck up in mower deck, causing blade to distort and in effect, be bent?
2. Blade or blades bent?
3. Measure to the blades, and not the deck edge. This will require a bit of time..:frown: Then rotate the blade until you get to the other end of the blade, and measure that. Any difference?
4. Spindles the same on left and right sides? Spindle mounts nice and flat, no cracks in mounting holes?
5. Spindle shafts (quills) not bent?

Checked the blade last night it's straight, tires are inflated a little less than hard( better ride). I'll look underneath the deck after work.

Thanks for the ideas,

Mower deck was out of level by 1/2" on 1 side. Adjusted it and it's better than it was.

Thanks to all
