Problem one when not using the grass catcher there is a sort of plug you put in the hole so grass can't shoot out the back. Mine won't stay in. The same force that throws grass out the side blows the plug out of the back. Is there some trick to getting it to stay in?
Problem two. The large flap you lift up to remove the full grass catcher bag is hinged on a long rod. My rod works it self out of one end or the other from vibration. The causes the spring that holds the flap down to come loose forcing me to stop mowing and fix this once or twice every time I mow. I am thinking of replacing the rod with a piece of all thread so I can put lock nuts on each end. Is this a common problem?
