Hey, got a question. We have a Snapper S200 in the shop. We originally drained the fuel tanks due to water in the fuel. Customer took it home, mowed and it acted up again. Now, it'll no turn over with the key, but if you jump it across the solenoid it will start. So far I have checked each safety switch for the levers, seat, and parking brake. I discovered it has had "wiring" issues before as it has been "cut, spliced, or is some cases disconnected." I have an ignition switch on order.....Any suggestions where to look next?

Solenoids can stop working too. Check that you have at least 12 volts to the solenoid.

Carb solenoid? I defeat all those on my machines. Clip the tip and shaft and remove the wire. Starts every time on first yank. Just idle it down fully before killing the engine. Sounds like John Force's lawn mower if you kill it at full revs LOL.
