rz54i hydrostatic problem

I have an rz54i zero turn. After mowing for just a little while the left side drive is very weak and almost won't turn the wheel. When pushed fully forward you can hear it whine kinda like a bad power steering pump. Just curious if anyone else has had the same problem and what it takes to fix. Thanks!

When did you last service both transaxles?
