I have a RZ4219 that has a problem with the right side not being as strong as the left side. When going straight on flat land it seems almost ok, but when I try to pull up a hill or push the right side steering handle forward I can tell that side transmission is not responding like it is supposed to. As a matter of fact, a hill I used to climb I can only go half way up before it is really noticeable that the right transmission is giving out. Is there anything specific Can anyone point me in the right direction as to what to look for? I also noticed that the right handle seems stiffer to operate than it used to. My son has been using it for the last 2 seasons so I haven't noticed any gradual changes in the unit, I just decided to cut his grass the other day and noticed the problem. Any advice appreciated.

Change the drive belt
If that makes no difference change the oil
If that makes no difference then rebuild time
Hydros have a very finite life.
