I am replacing the Generac 27hp with a Kawasaki 27hp. My problem is that the Generac has 2 small oil cooler fins on the side of the engine, 1 for the hydro and 1 for the motor oil. It has the oil cooler that is mounted above the engine in front of the air cannister. The Kawasaki only has 1 cooler fin on side of the engine for the motor oil. Do I need to add another on the side for the hydro or just leave it off and run the hoses straight from the hydro tank to the cooler that is on top of the engine.

I would add another one on top of the engine. If you don't have one the part # is 60103L @ $142.50. How are U mounting the cooler on top of the engine as they mount differently on the two engines?

Dixie Chopper makes an oil cooler mounting bracket for the Kawasaki engine. Part # 200565 @ $56.08. I have used these on some I have replaced the Generac engine with the Kawasaki engine.
