Hi,
The Raptor SD manual recommends raising the mower on blocks for the winter. Has anyone done this yet? If so what did you use and at what contact points? I'm looking at the mower now and I'm having a hard time locating an appropriate place on the back of the frame (I have an muffer/heat guard on).

Thanks,
Andrew

I would just run the 4 wheels up onto blocks (such as wooden blocks). I dont see why this is recommended unless Hustler feels your tires will dry rot sitting on dirt over the winter.

The manual advises to "Block mower up so weight is off tires." I guess it's to avoid flat spots on tires that may develop in the winter when air pressure in tires drops and the mower sits in the same position for a couple months.
EDIT: I'm in New England so it may be more of a concern than warmer parts of the country.
