R8237. sell propel

I am not sure I understand how this works. I replaced the rollers, adjusted the engagement rod and it still does not pull well, if at all. If I lift the back the wheels are turning.


What am I missing?

You have to pull the right wheel and there is a bolt that you loosen that moves the rollers closer to the tires. If you go to lawn boy. Com and download the service manual it will show you exactly what I am talking about and how to do it with pictures. It's a free download and it's under f series capstan self propelled servicing.

I loosened the two bolts at the axle, it did not move more than a fraction of an inch. I can't get anywhere near the 3/16" clearance they recommend. Any ideas?
