I've used Tamiya TS-22 light green available at a hobby shop. Comes in a small spray can. It's not an exact match to Lawn-Boy green, but it's close and will look better than before. Just feather the damaged area with a sanding disk on your drill, prime with light grey primer. I've just refinished a Toro deck, but removed everything. I used an automotive spray gun and N.A.P.A. acrylic enamel with hardener. Came out really well.

The standard repaint is Hi-Temp engine enamel "Grabber Green" color. Available in most chain auto parts stores. You need this type of paint to resist gas spills.
