Ok i have a zero turn mower that the motor on it is shot burning oil like it burns gas so i went out and found 2 motors for $150 bucks the first motor is a 20hp Onan proformer motor runs great just have to put a gas carb on it cuz its got a propane carb on it now, i also got a 17hp kawasaki that runs great also.

but my problem is i want to put the onan on my mower cuz its got more power and i need the extra power, i cant get the motor pulley off i unbolted the center bolt and it wouldnt come off i took a hammer to it and still wouldnt come off, my pulley that was on the mower will come right off and same with the kawasaki, is there a trick or somthing to getting that pulley off cuz i have to get it off to mock the motor up on the frame. any help would be great thanks alot

Try soaking it down with PB Blaster or some other penetrating oil and let it sit overnight.

i got it off i got my gear puller out and it poped off i got the motor on the zero turn but looks like im going to have to drill some holes to make it bolt in just right, but other then that it fits like it was put there from the dealer, this thing is going to be a mowing beast when its done
