Older Craftsman Belt / Disk sander - year of manufacture ?

Several years back i found a site that dated the year of any Craftsman power tool and the name of the manufacturer but i'm un-able to locate that information now . Thought you knowledgeable guys would possibly be able to help . My eye sight isn't nearly as good as you younger whipper snappers .

3307P0155 - edit: manual provided does not appear correct. The correct manual date is 4/1997 per Rivets, so the date of manufacture is 330th day of 1997 at whatever plant P stands for. 155th unit made that day.

Looked up the owners manual for your unit and date the manual was printed is 4/97. Date on the manual you supplied is 8/81, but not for your model number. Only other thing I found is that it was manufactured by Emerson Electric. I know this isn’t much help, might have to contact Emerson Electric.

That would be the date the MANUAL was released, not a manufacturing date.

3307P0155. 330th day of year ending in 7 (generally same as the manual +1/-1 year which is 1997), plant P, 155th unit that day is how the the code is supposed to read according to some articles. Emerson Electric is the manufacturer.
