oil change on Husq. 2454

Bought used 2454 Husq. Having trouble changing oil. I open up cap and very little oil comes out. And yes the oil is full. what am I doing wrong? don't have a manual for it. Anybody help? thankyou.

They originally came with a small 12" hose to hook on the oil drain connector. The connector then needs to be pushed in slightly and turned to the left to unlock the drain. That will let the oil drain out.
