Have a Cub Cadet with a 26hp Kohler Courage motor with about 200 hrs on it. My question is is the Courage Motors noisy at Idle ?? Was given this mower and replaced the coils with a newer style coils. The Motor runs great ,starts easy and sounds good running but after running if you let it idle the valve train sounds noisy?? I adjusted the valves and even pulled the covers off and rechecked thinking one wasn't right but all is ok. Have several Commands but no Courages so maybe this is normal for them ??
