a friend borrowed my weed trimmer and really messed it up ... does not have enough compression to run properly. I have another engine and want to swap them out. What is the easiest way to switch the engines? The replacement engine has 2 motor mount bolts broken off and remaining in the holes ... I think I can take it to a machine shop and have them removed. Another option would be to swap out the cylinder assembly, that way I can leave original engine on chassis and not deal with the broken bolts.

actually that one is pretty easy. flip over on its top take off belt and you should be able to reach the engine bolts. unbolt engine and that's it,
