Hi,
I have to repair the broken connection rod of my GCV530. First I have to get the cilinderhead off but I donn't know the size off the bolds is it mm or inch. Second, I never repaired a Honda and donn't know were and how to have the right timing off the engine. I think that Honda also must have some marks and I like to know were I have to look for, I am just familiar with Briggss and Stratton so I need some help.

See the attached pages from the shop manual that show how to set the camshaft pulley / timing. At the level of service work you are doing on this engine, I'd strongly suggest you get a complete paper shop manual from Honda. They sell them on Amazon and eBay; here's an example:

Amazon.com : Honda GCV520 GCV530 GXV520 GXV530 Engine Service Repair Shop Manual : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Hi Robert, Thank you for the file and the Link. I think I did it My way, I know about adjusting the Valves and the TDC. First I looked for the compresion stroke, then the TDC and then I put the timing belt on its place. I didn't know about the marks as in your instrucion but its more or less the same. Now I can go to fix it then I had to wait to be shure I did it right.
Greetings
