Hi,

Firstly, sorry I am new to the forum so apologies if posted in the wrong place. I have a Murray 10HP/30 and I think the model number is 30577x8A.
We recharged the battery and it ran fine for a about 20 minutes before stopping and now won’t start.
The battery is a standard bike battery 12v 7Ah so not sure if this is correct. When I turn the ignition it tries but it’s as if they isn’t sufficient power.
Can anyone advise the correct battery for this model should it be 12v 35ah and does anyone know where the best place for parts would be in the uk and the chute doesn’t feed the box correctly.

thanks,

Make sure the starter solenoid leads are tight. Solenoid is probably behind battery.

Batteries don't last much more than 2 year unless you hook it up to a battery tender. 12v 155cca 185 ca or you can spend a lot more and it won't last much longer..
